Dr. David Charbonneau received his Optometry Doctorate from the School of Optometry and Vision Science at the University of Waterloo in 2018, graduating on the Dean’s Honours List. He completed an Ocular Disease and Therapeutics internship in 2017 at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He also participated in a volunteer trip to Moldova with Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) in 2016, providing free eye examinations and glasses to the local Moldovan community. Before optometry, Dr. Charbonneau graduated with a Bachelor of Science Honours in 2014 from Carleton University, with a major in the field of Neuroscience.
Having been a member of the Nepean Optometric Clinic team throughout his optometry schooling, working both in pretesting and in the dispensary, Dr. Charbonneau is very excited to have joined the clinic as an associate optometrist and to continue work with the patients and staff of the clinic. Dr. Charbonneau enjoys all aspects of primary optometric care and looks forward to seeing you as a patient.
